Dr Kellar completed two neurogastroenterology fellowship years before returning to Brisbane to establish the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital Neurogastroenterology service where she leads a specialist multidisciplinary team today. In 2021 Dr Kellar co-founded the QLD Pelvic Floor Centre, and this year has joined the team at Metabolic GI Surgery in the launch of their new service, performing high resolution oesophageal manometry and pH-impedance testing. Dr Kellar brings a wealth of experience to the service. Performing the tests herself, with a formal pre-procedure consult included, enables in-depth reports and recommendations, including consideration of overlapping functional disorders when relevant.
Dr Kellar is an active clinician-researcher and member of national and international working groups. She currently sits on the Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA) Luminal Faculty Committee, and the GESA Education Committee. Dr Kellar led the Australian working group for the assessment and management of idiopathic gastroparesis in 2025. Her key interest areas include chronic nausea and vomiting syndromes, and the overlap between eating disorders, motility, and disorders of gut-brain interaction.
Please note some consultation services remain at Dr Kellar’s Auchenflower rooms, please enquire with reception.
